Mid-entry Level Metal Forming

Looking for a mid-entry skilled worker to do various types of shop duties including forming, shearing, and general fabrication. Must be able to use shop tools and equipment under the instruction of production personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read instructions, shop drawings, and work orders for the job
  • Plan details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements
  • Fabrication of products by cutting, shearing, forming, flanging and dishing various material sizes with supervision.
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation.
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Must possess a mindset for efficiency and quality workmanship.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
  • Abide by company policies
  • Minimum 40-hour work weeks. In the busy seasons, overtime may be required.
  • Must be willing to work on swing shift if needed.
  • Willingness and ability to cross-train
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Machine operation (shears, brakes, etc.) highly desirable.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to past a pre-employment drug screen.

  • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • 40 per week
